Kayseri is by far the most successful carpet-weaving region in Anatolia. In some villages, every home has a carpet-weaving region loom. The entire population of a large area around the city makes a living from the carpet industry. This finely woven piece which has beautiful floral designs is around 70 to 80 years old and in very good condition.
